The Story Behind the Strategy
We started the Teamwork Institute because we saw a massive opportunity to change how teamwork feels and performs. Our partnership is built on two very different, but complementary, perspectives. We have combined our backgrounds to build something new: Evidence-based immersive corporate training and team building in Dublin & Ireland through gamification that people enjoy & can bring the learnings back to their teams straight away. Meet The Founders
Niall McCarney
Co-Founder
A student of Team Dynamics
Niall specialises in the mechanics of high-performing teams. His perspective on teamwork was forged in two very different fires: elite sport and high-stakes business. On the field, he’s captained Ireland and coached university and club teams for over a decade. He learned a team performs at a level greater than the sum of its parts when collective success matters more than individual accolades.
Off the field, as a Chartered Accountant & Chartered Tax Advisor working across Big 4, Big Tech, Finance, Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals, he has analysed why some organisations execute on their strategy and while others stall under pressure. He brings to our events a blend of that rigour and evidence-based approach, shaped by extensive experience coaching and facilitating large groups of people.
Sporting Excellence:
Multiple county titles in Gaelic Football with Castlebar Mitchels & Record number of caps as captain of Ireland Men’s Ultimate Frisbee.
Corporate Rigour:
Chartered Accountant & Tax Advisor (Big 4) with natural transitions from Tax advisory management into the worlds of FP&A, data analytics, project management, Marketing, Sales and Executive Leadership.

Taking a Human-First approach
Lynne is passionate about bringing out the human potential within teams. Having practiced as a Funds solicitor and with experience in hospitality, she learned the value of meaningful communication, collaboration, and connecting with people on a human-first level. She believes teams thrive when people are given space to be authentic and she is committed to creating environments that make that possible.
Her experiences helped her to identify her passion for understanding the people behind the organisations. Instead of settling for the security of the status quo, Lynne pivoted to build a career aligned with her natural energy. She now channels that energy into The Teamwork Institute, helping organisations turn “soft skills” into their strongest competitive advantage and turning their people into their greatest assets.
